Does Glossa store my screenshots?
No. Captures are processed in memory and discarded right after recognition. Nothing is uploaded unless you use online translation, and then only the recognized text is sent.
Does it work with games?
Yes, in windowed and borderless modes. Some exclusive fullscreen games need borderless mode enabled.
Can I use it offline?
Yes. Install language packs in Settings and switch on offline mode.
How do I delete my data?
Use Settings → Privacy → Delete all data, or email us at the address in the Privacy Policy below.

1. Who we are
Glossa is operated by [Company Legal Name], [Address] ("we", "us"). Contact: privacy@example.com.
2. What we collect
- Text you translate. When you choose online translation, the recognized text and language pair are sent to our translation provider. Screenshots stay on your device.
- Device and usage data. App version, operating system, language settings, crash reports and feature usage, collected in aggregate to fix bugs and improve the product.
- Website data. IP address, browser type, pages visited and referrer, as described in the Cookie Policy.
- Contact data. Your email address and message if you write to us.
- Purchase data. Handled by the app store or payment provider. We receive only confirmation of your plan.
3. Why we use it (legal bases)
To provide translations (contract), to keep the service secure and improve it (legitimate interests), to measure and advertise where you agree (consent), and to meet legal duties.
4. Sharing
We share data only with service providers acting on our instructions: translation, hosting, analytics, crash reporting, payments and email. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Retention
Translated text sent online is deleted within [30] days. Website analytics are kept for up to [14] months. Local history stays on your device until you delete it. Support emails are kept for up to [24] months.
6. International transfers
Data may be processed outside your country. Where required, we rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, UK or California), you may access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent at any time, and complain to your data protection authority. Email us to exercise these rights. We respond within one month.
8. Children
Glossa is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 where local law requires), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we also keep on-device processing as the default.
